Working with Office 2003 & Vista's Compatability Wizard

My computer was stolen last month and the one I purchased to replace it came
with Windows Vista. I had all of my programs backed up to an external drive
and am trying to open them up in Vista and even with the help, and trying
every combination imaginable, I am still unable to run ANY of my Office 2003
applications. Can any of you VERY WISE and ALL-KNOWING Office Gurus out
there tell me where I have strayed from the path of Vista's cooperation?

You have to reinstall them from your original media to your new version of
Vista.
