Works 4.x and Word 2003

I have several .WPS files I believe from a 4.x version of
Works. I now have Word 2003. I have tried the following:

us;246566. But don't believe it is what I need. Anyone
have some ideas are a solution for this issue.

Have you tried in Word, file, open, files of type, scroll down to the various Works
versions.
