Worksheet functions

Just a couple of questions I'd really appreciate help with:

1. How do I lock the first row so that I can scroll down the sheet, but
still see the headings?

2. How do I sub-filter cells so that I can select definite responses eg yes
or not

Hi Lizzie

1. click in cell A2, choose window / freeze panes from the menu - to undo,
choose window / unfreeze panes

2. click in any cell in the data underneath the headings and choose data /
filter / autofilter ... now click on the little arrow on the column that you
want to filter on & choose the criteria. You can filter on multiple
columns. To clear the filter & show all records choose data / filter / show
all. To turn off the autofilter choose data / filter / autofilter again
