Worksheet 'shape' (#columns by #rows)

Hi All;

Have a problem here in that we would like to import some data into a
spreadsheet, but the data array is 512 by 512 elements. Excel seems to
force a limit of 256 columns. Is there a way to change the array shape?
In any Excel version 97-2003.
