Worksheet won't display PLEASE HELP!

When I open an Excel worksheet, the only thing that will
display is the Title Bar, the Toolbars, and the Formula
Bars. The main worksheet will not appear. It is like a
see-through window. Instead of viewing the worksheet, I
am viewing whatever program was open previously. I even
tried closing all other programs and the same thing
happened. I was able to view the title bar, toolbars,
and formula bar, but could not view the worksheet that
was supposed to open. Can anyone help me with this
problem? Your suggestions are very appreciated!

Hi

I experienced the problem since a few weeks.
It matches with the moment when I started to work and test
a new add-in. But I can't find what is doing this. If I
disable this add-in a few days, the problem seems to stop.
I remarked that it happens when you open an excel file
(excel is closed) directly by the windows explorer.
But if you first open excel, and then make File/Open <Your
File> then it's ok.

Try this Jennifer

Tools>Options>General uncheck "Ignore other Applications"
Exit Excel and try again

If this doesn't work try to re-register Excel

On the Windows Taskbar
Close Excel
Start>Run "excel.exe /regserver"(no quotes)>OK.
See the space between exe and /regserver
