Does anyone know how to compare values from two worksheets
in the same excel file i.e. if value x in worksheet number
1 is in worksheet number 2 or 3 or 4 then "yes" in not
then "no"?

Maybe he means to find that value in any cell on any of
his sheets.....if so, this might work, expanded to include
all possible Columns and a nested If for each
sheet...correct me if I'm wrong Frank:

=IF(COUNTIF(Sheet2!A:T,A1),"Yes",IF(COUNTIF(Sheet3!
A:T,A1),"Yes","No"))
