would like to leave messages on server, but...

Iwould like to leave messages on the server but:
Installed office 2003 pro with everything installed from the cd.
I am the admin. on my machine.
but I don't have the advanced tab in the properties.... (tool,change,(e-mail account),advanced tab).

any help
