I did not have a confirmation page after my form. could this be it?

I downloaded wpp/serk. How do I use it/run it? Was it what i needed?
After going to the form field properties the error would come up stating
that I should get this component.

Please ask questions, that I may further help you, to help me. thanks

Have read any of the replies to your post?
Have you contacted your web host?

Yes I have read all the replys. Thanks. I have spent hours with my web host.
And have come to the conclusion it is not them. This is the error I get after
completing the form properties:
"This form is being created on a Disk-Based web or the FrontPage server
extensions have not been configured to send email. Please direct your system
admin or ISP to the instructions in "setting up email options on windows" in
the server extensions resource kit. If you do not have the SERK you can get
them here." which I have done.
I am using FP2000

Unless you have a web server and SMTP server installed, you will not be able to test the forms on
your local machine and will always get the message. Even you got it to work on your local machine,
it means really nothing, as it must work on the live/remote server.

However if you get the message after publishing the form to your web host via FP's File Menu |
Publish Web command to http://users.adelphia.net/~jh_rogers then the problem is not on your end, it
is with your web host. Your web host must set the correct permissions and configure the FP
extensions to process email, you can not do this.

Having a custom confirmation page means nothing, as the form will use the default one.

I'm just coming to this thread .... back in the days of fp 98 I learnt that
if a url has a ~ in it then fpse are not installed on the server... does
this still hold true? and is this the url above that is being talked about?

If that still holds true should'nt the link change? .. this used to happen
on tripod... I never use ftp so I don't know if that's still holds true
either....

I went to the root and it's worst isp/host website I've ever seen .. I
finally found some info about hosting by clicking on the FAQs link ... you
would think they would have links marked hosting packages that showed
information ... every time I went anywhere I got asked to sign in ... it
does say on the faq's that fpse are provided at no extra cost but that your
not allowed databases ... it does not say anything about any other web
componets like forms..

Adelphia does not support the FP SE
- a check of http://users.adelphia.net/~jh_rogers/_vti_inf.html confirms that
