WP divide page

Is there a way to divide the page into fourths like one
can in Word Perfect? We have tried using tables and
columns, but neither one has the same ease of use as
dividing the page. Any suggestions?

What are you actually trying to do? Rather than asking how Word can mimic
WP, it's better to ask how Word can achieve your actual objective.
