WPS 2003: migration to a new AD domain

Hello all,

We are going to change to a new AD domain. Users have been created by using
"Insert from AD" on PRO from the OLD domain. There is no automatic
synchronization between WPS and OLD AD.
The problem is that we want to keep the history of each user in WPS (actuals
into schedules) and not have to create again each user in the NEW domain
always to keep the history and there are also schedules in progress. The
migration is forecasted to be done one shot on week-end.

In PWA/Admin User, the domain name can be changed in the "Windows User
Account" item.
I've changed to the NEW AD domain name for one user (OLD\user1 to NEW\user1).
This user has created a planning in which he assigned him to a task.
Collaborate/Publish is OK. As resource, he entered its actuals and perform an
"Update all". A mail was sent but these updates never appear in the Update
tab.

The second problem I face is that when I click on Resources tab, the
following message appears: "An error occurred while trying to access the
resources stored on the database. Either there are too many resources, or the
project server may not have the correct DSN configuration. Contact the server
administrator.".

I've made the changes advised in Microsoft help #832588 but no effect.

So, I'm not sure that the only change of the domain name is sufficient.
Do you have some ideas to help me?

Do you have also a procedure that can be followed in this case i.e. continue
to use WPS by using a new AD domain without recreating all users?

Thanks in advance for your precious help.

Arnaud
