Wrap Text in Chart Data Labels

Is there a way to insert a manual line break in a chart data sheet?

I'm working with stacked column charts that include the data table. It's not possible to change these labels manually in the graph itself, so I'm wondering if it's possible to insert a manual line break in the data sheet that would be reflected in the graph.

I'd like the category axis (and data table column headings) to look like this:
June
2004
(XXX)

and not
June 2004
(XXX)

without changing the width of the entire chart.

Obviously I should have stuck it out a little longer ...

In an Excel sheet, use the keystrocke ALT + ENTER to add the manual line break. [If you're working in the Word app, like me, copy and past those labels into your data sheet from Excel.]
