Write a word in the same place

Hi everyone!
I need a tip! I would like to put on a word’s sheet a button that when
you press it write the date. Using Selection.InsertAfter Date is
right but if by change the selection is in the all other part of the
sheet, it will write the date in a no wanted place.
Is it necessary only use bookmark or it is possible in an other way as
well?
I would like to press the button , take the new date without take care
where i have left the selection .
