Write Once Function

Hello,

I would like to create a template in which every other row
is a write once row. Any edits or changes will be made on
an unprotected row underneath it that will be hidden. Is
this possible?

If the row underneath it is hidden, how will the changes be made?

The user would have to unhide the rows to make changes.
