Writing Equations using MS Word

I'm wondering if anyone else has noticed that the Beta 2 version is not very
user-friendly regarding writing equations. This feature is a great step
foreward for MS office, but there are many errors. for one i have notice that
i am not able to neatly create multi-lined equations where the equal signs
are alligned. as well when attempting to square something withen a squareroot
sign nor does it allow you to create a super-script nor does it recognize
"^". please update the next beta to allow this and make it more convinient,
as a student, to create equations!
