writing mpp file by using asp scripting

I am able to retrieve values from mpp file by using asp scripting but unable
to write the values to mpp file by using asp scripting.can any one guide me.
its help ful a single clue also.

The format of .mpp files is not published so this is not possible. You can
save to xml or ODBC database though.

I am in criticle situation and my project struck up here.

There is no documented way of creating or editing a .mpp file other than
using automation and getting Project Professional to do it for you. So
either save to .xml or an ODBC database and have your users open the project
from there.

Only Project via automation can create/update a .mpp file.

XML is a format, use Project itself to open an XML file.

sorry for asking questions again and again.

my requirement is:
1.I have a button like export.on clicking this button I have to export all
the data to MPP file
2. As i mentioned earlier this should be done through my asp code.

I knew from ur answers that Its not posiible.

can I achieve the above requirement throgh automation itself.
If it is possible,Please tell me the procedure.

The procedure you are asking for is nearly a book long, I know as I wrote
it!

Try recording a macro of you doing what you need and adapting the code from
there.

The only way to read data directly from a .mpp file is using the oledb
driver. See the file pjoledb.htm in one of project's program folders. Note
that Project 2007 no longer supports oledb.

Rod is correct. There is no way to read the mpp file in Project 2007.
However, you can save the project file to XML. The schema is documented in
the SDK:
