I have a strange situation here. I have 12 desktop units in the office and
they all use Word 2000. I have one person that every time they try to open
Woord they get: "WinWord.exe has caused an error and will be closed by
Windows. Please restart the progam. Windows has created an error log." I have
two questions 1. Where is the error log? I have looked for it and cannot find
it either on the local machine or the server. Number 2. the local machine is
running Windows XP service pack 2 with all updates. Word also has all the
updates. I have uninstalled Word and reinstalled it a couple of times, doing
the updates each time. I can log onto this one machine under a different log
in name and Word Loads just fine. Any ideas as to why it won't load for this
one person? Any assistance is greatly appreciated.
