wrong disk

I bought the MS Office 2003. I installed and it works
great/ but when I installed I did not keep the temp
files. Now when I do the web updates instead of asking
for the 2003 disk it ask for the 2000sr1 disk which I do
not have. I have uninstalled and reinstalled but that
does not help, it is a different install and no temp
files created. My understanding is the temp files that I
deleted are for doing updades on the web. How can I
update with out them or get the temp files back. I have
xp on My computer.

Hi, tonysib,

Do you have an Office 2000 disk that was originally used for your
isntallation?

If not, run the Windows Installer Cleanup Utility:

290301 - Description of the Windows Installer CleanUp Utility:

Clean out references to Office 2000, then try the patch again.
