PPT 2008 seems to have a problem using fonts whose name is different to their filename.
This affects at least OTF fonts.
The font shown will be a replacement.

From the start this happens to every Mac who gets a fresh copy of PPT 2008.

The problem occurs with the LT Helvetica Std.
Duplicating it and change its filename from "HelveticaLtStd-Roman.otf" to "Helvetica Lt Std Roman.otf" and restart the Mac does help.
With the other variants (Black, Light) of this font this trick doesn't help.

Flushing font caches of Office and Mac doesn't help.

Is there somebody else who worked this out?

Frank
