Hi,

when i try to insert a word document with insertfile() into a opened
document, the format of the inserted document is changed. What can I
do that the format is not changing?

Please, don't post same question in multiple newsgroups. You got an
answer in news.microsoft.public.de.
To which version of Word do you refer to? Which sort of formatting do
you mean? You have to insert section breaks to keep different page
formatting. If character and/or paragraph formatting have to be
maintained, you have to apply different styles in both documents, or
you have to use direct formatting.

When you use the Insert File command, the formatting of the inserted text adjusts to that of the target document; this is by design.

Exceptions are, as Lisa has explained, if the pasted text are using styles that don't exist in the target, or if it makes use of direct formatting which overrides the settings of the style.

We become the problemes after updating from word 2003 to word 2010.
Maybe there are the same styles with different format. We cannot
format 2000 documents!
What has changed in word 2010?

As far as I know, nothing has changed in Word 2010--when it comes to the Insert File dialog box that is.

As an alternative, you could try pasting the text in; experiment with the paste options (in File tab | Options | Advanced) and see if produces the result that you want.

Pasting is no alternative.
