Wrong outlineline code value in inserted project

Hello
- insert a project from the data base in a new project with read only
property
- save the consolidate project in mpp file
- change an item of a project outline code in the origin project, save and
close
-open the consolidate project
- see ouline code is updated on tasks (ok)
- but not at the project summary task (that's the problem)

Jean-Luc,
Which Project Summary task? The consolidated master may or may not have
a Project Summary task shown. I suspect however that you are looking at
the insertion point of the subproject in the master and assuming it is
the Project Summary task for the subproject. Look carefully at the ID
numbers at the consolidated file level. What may look like the Project
Summary line for each inserted subproject is actually a line in the
master itself and therefore the Outline Code is defined at the master
level, not the subproject level.

Jean-Luc,
I forgot to point out in my original response that custom fields (e.g.
Outline CodeX) will not show at the master level. Standard fields that
Project calculates (i.e. Duration) will show.
