Wrong textformat when showing as web

I have made a pub-file with a page, where I have added an object (a file in
my computer). Now when I want to see my file as a webpage, all the text in
the object are bold.

Try Paste Special into a text box as Unformatted Text, and format the text
in Publisher. Also use a web safe font:
Arial, Arial Black, Comic Sans MS, Courier New, Georgia, Impact, Symbol,
Times New Roman, Trebuchet, Verdana, Wingdings.

Hello DavidF,

Thank you for a very quick answer, but the failure is still not removed!!
The funny side of the story is, that I did not have the problem when I used
Publisher 2000. I am now using Publisher 2002.

When I have created a link from Publisher 2002 to an existing Word-file, it
all lookes as I want it to. The only problem is, when I want to see the page
in webmode. I don't understand why I've got this problem now, and didn't have
the problem in my old publisher version. I have made no other changes in the
pub-file!

David,

Many people do not consider Arial Black, Impact, Symbol or Windings to
be Web Safe. Here's the list I use:
Arial
Comic Sans MS
Courier New
Georgia
Tahoma
Times New Roman
Trebuchet MS
Verdana

Unfortunately, Microsoft made some major changes in how Pub 2002 works from
Pub 2000. Reference this article and perhaps it will lead you to an answer:
Web Publication Changes Made in Version 2002 of Publisher :

I still think you will probably have to copy and paste special unformatted
text into the text boxes, and then format as desired from within Publisher.

The list I included were copied and pasted from the Publisher 2003 Help
file. I also use webdings successfully, but have never tried Impact or Arial
Black. Your abbreviated list might be "more safe" ;-)

I would also add that if you still have Pub 2000, I would recommend using it
to produce your website, rather than 2002. It is superior in many other ways
than just the way you found. It can be installed alongside Pub 2002 by doing
a custom install, and installing it in a different folder, and you can run
both versions.

David,

I think it is. A guy looked at one of my pages (showing a workaround on
how to get text to wrap around an image in the center of the frame
without getting converted to a picture) and I had inadvertently used
Arial Black. He reported out the spacing was all messed up - and that he
didn't have Arial Black loaded. I've seen Impact and Wingdings listed
before but not as completely safe.
