Wrong wizzard when connecting to ODBC

I have a strange situation. I try to connect to a SQL server using the table
connection function. When I select ODBC databases the Sharepoint wizzard is
displayed?!?. When I select Windows Sharepoint Services nothing happens. When
I try the Text import feature and select an existing TXT file, an error
message is displayed that the MS Jet database engine cannot find the
requested file. It seems that something is seriously wrong, but office
recovery did not corrected the problem. Does anyone recognise this or have an
idea how to solve this?
