WSS Site Permissions for the Project Manager site group

Is it possible to change the default permissions for the site group 'Project
Managers (Microsoft Office Project Server)'?

This group is added to a Project WSS site when the site is created. I need
to alter the default permissions for this site group so all new Project WSS
sites will be affected.

I know how to make permission changes after the site is created... I am
looking for how to change permissions so that all future sites have the
altered permissions from the start.
