WSS Workspace Create - Every Publish

We are noticing that we get a queue job for WSS Workspace Create on every
publish and are wondering if this is normal behavior or if there is something
wrong with our environment. Any input would certainly be appreciated because
this job is taking a long time to finish in the queue and we arent sure it is
doing anything.

We are running Proj Serv 2007, MOSS and Dec CUs.

Yes, the WSS Workspace Create does occur after each publish. The job name
is misleading. I'm not certain all the things it does but I believe one
thing it does is validate list fields and fixes any list field discrepencies
it finds.

The WSS Create Job runs on every publish. This runs to create the
workspace if that has been deleted. On some troubleshooting admins
recommend deleting the project workspace. Once you publish after the
deletion, this job takes care of creating the new workspace and syncs
with the project.

Thanks,
Ravi.
