I just decided to do an Office 2K3 compressed CD image and have some ?s. I do
not have (but will in the near future) a WSUS server. If I do an install of
Office via CD image on a network share, can I later apply Office Updates via
WSUS? It sounds like I should be able to, but how does the updates get
applied; i.e. is WSUS smart enough to know about the hidden folders on the
local computer and update accordingly? Any feedback would be greatly
appreciated.
