X-Bar in PowerPoint 2008

Help! Is there an easy was to create an X-Bar symbol (sample mean) in
PowerPoint 2008? And, will this symbol also work when the file is
opened by PowerPoint 2007 in Windows?

Read the article Jim referred you to all the way through The very last
topic referring to "Saving your creations for reuse". If you use the
AutoCorrect method it will be available in all 3 programs.
