X Plague

I have used Word and Publisher for years, using many graphics. All of a sudden, one or two graphics on a page show up with a box and small X in the upper left corner when printed. I would guess that there is some kind of memory limitation. I have not had this problem before, but do all of a sudden. I use Windows 2000 Pro and have 512 MB of RAM. Any suggestions?

Mary,

The printer (HP LaserJet 2100) works fine in all respects, except when a
number of graphics are on a page. Then one or more out of the total display
the X when printed instead of the graphic. I updated the print driver, and
I still have the same problem. There is oodles of hard memory space. This
problem did not exist until recently. Any other thoughts?

Thanks,

Bill

It could be the image(s) are corrupt and not sending correct information to the
printer. Have you printed them in another application? Or replace them with a new
insert?
