XARA Webstyle

I tried a dozen highly recommended button programs and believe me most of
them are utter garbage. I also played with a bunch of text generators and I
wouldn't waste much time tellingyou how awful most are, although FONT
TWISTER gets honorable mention.

The best has been XARA products. Their XARA 3D is the tops, IMHO. Also, for
buttons and other scaleable effects, XARA WEBSITE 4 seems to be excellent.
However, playing with the demos is different from buying and living with the
retail version. They also claim to be FP compliant.

Has anyone tried these products and what has been your experience? Also, can
I get them at a better price via online ordering somewhere else.

NOTE: They have demo movies on their site and its very slick and gives a
good idea of the capabilities.

Pat,

I own Webstyle 4.0 and would recommend it....although the advanced HTML
author may turn his nose up at it, it does create some very nice menus. It
also integrates very well with FP 2003. Not sure about FP 2003 though, I
just bought FP 2003 today, and have not installed it yet.

I assume you mean that it integrates well with FP 2002, otherwise if you
haven't installed FP 2003, how would you know if it integrates will with it?

While I have the entire Xara line and have been generally quite pleased with
Xara3D, Webstyle, and Xara X one of the nicest little button programs I have
ever found is available as freeware.

I am speaking about Zpaint 1.4, which is particularly useful in the creation of
custom buttons for FrontPage Themes. You can download Zpaint 1.4 at the
following:
