I'm running XL 2007 on a dual-core machine and iterative calculation is
turned on. I notice a two-second lag when iterative calculation is turned on.
My (perhaps naive) understanding is that XL 2007 is built to take advantage
of dual core processors. I would have expected calculation, even of the
iterative sort, to be instantaneous, especially for a small workbook. The
workbook in question (which is the only workbook open) is under 200k in size,
the machine has 2 gb of RAM and is running XP Pro.
