xll file under Excel 2000 or Excel 2004

Hello,

I am trying to port an Excel addin to MacOS. I will support Excel 10 and 11.

Is it possible to use .xll files under Excel X and Excel 2004 for Mac?

Is there a simple example somewhere on the Microsoft website?
