XML importing

Operating System: Mac OS X 10.5 (Leopard)
Processor: Intel

I cannot import XML tables in Excel 2008, yet I can do this through my Parallel's Desktop based PC? Is there someway I can enable my Excel for Mac 2008 version to do this?

I do this procedure very frequently, so it would be great to avoid "pre-work" with my PC.

Unfortunately XML hasn't been as fully implemented in the Mac version as in
PC XL. Save the files on the PC as XML Spreadsheet files rather than as XML
files. You don't need to use the Data> Get External Data option - just open
the file as though it were a regular .xls or .xlsx, edit & save as usual.
