XML to XSN

I am attempting to modify a Form but the design mode option is unavailable.
I am unsure of the inner workings of Infopath, but I know the form and
templates are different. How can I make modifications to a form that was
originally created by someone else?

Hi,

If "Design This Form" option is enabled in the xml then you can open form
template in design mode. Other wise you can't open the xsn from xml.

You need to take the xsn from Published location.
