After installing the new explorer, desktop background quits working, and the
only thing that is active when I click on desktop is "color". Any feedback
will be appreciated!

This is so not an office problem. Please delete this question and put it in
another category. Thanks!

What category you need it under? you didn't mention, looks like you don't
know which one either.. it is a discussion and it will be appreciated if you
have an answer to answer but if not, please leave it blank!

Well, it's certainly not an issue with a Microsoft Office Program. what
makes you think it is?

Since you installed Internet Explorer, the category would be Internet
Explorer, or, better yet, Windows XP. So, those are the newsgroups to
check.

This is a newsgroup for solving Microsoft Office applications issues.
Perhaps if you posed your question in the group for the Windows XP
folks, someone could help you with your problem with Windows XP.
