XP Office - Educational Versions

E

My wife works for a university and purchased the XP
Office Standard For Teachers and students. We installed
it, then discovered that we didn't get Access with it.
We returned the product to Microsoft for a full refund
and purchased the XP Office Professional- Educational
version.

I'm trying to get the Office SP1 upgrades applied and the
installation process is asking for the Standard CD (which
we returned). I don't remember if we uninstalled the
Standard version or not.

Does anyone have any words of wisdom before I go
uninstall/reinstall Office? Particularly pertaining to
preserving the PSTs and address books.

Uninstall the STudents and Teachers edition - otherwise, you will have
problems when trying to apply the patch.
