cranky office lady

Our company have been using small business office xp for approx 2 yrs...now
we keep getting our machine(s) 'freezing' or just shutting down....when we go
to 'error reporting' we get the message...'more information'...so we go there
also...we get the required updates needed....windows say we need update for
OFFICE 2003....but when we go to install and download (even tho we know we
dont have 'office 2003') we get a failure...still we are getting freezing and
crashing....so I guess this means our microsoft office product is faulty
after 2 years...that is bull......

Perhaps you should have a computer tech come over and correct the
problem. Since it was working fine previously, the product is obviously
not faulty, only the installation.

How many machines? Does this happen to *all* of them? Does this happen
*only* when using an Office application or at other times too?

When you say "shutting down", do you mean that power suddenly goes out
and the screen goes blank or does it go through the shutdown process?

What version Windows are you running? When was the last time Windows was
re-loaded on these machines? What is the make/model/specs of the machine?

There seems to be a lot going on according to your short paragraph that
I think makes it premature to point the finger of blame at Office.
