XP or '03?

Rob

I'm thinking of upgrading my Office 2000 Standard to XP
or '03 Standard. I'm running XP Pro for my O/S.

Which version would be best?

If you can find Office XP (still out there in some numbers) and purchase it
before November 30, you will be eligible for Office System 2003 Technology
Guarantee which will get you Office System 2003 for the cost of shipping and
handling.

So, the answer would be, yes. Get XP now and send in the coupon for 2003.
Then you can decide for yourself but if you are an Outlook user, I would go
directly to Office System 2003.

Hi Rob,

To add one point to Milly's post. If you're purchasing
an Office XP copy the technology guarantee is only
on retail boxed copies (i.e. volume license fullfillment
and OEM copies won't qualify for the technology guarantee
upgrade to Office 2003.

Does this technology guarantee include "academic versions" and is it
applicable in Australia too? I have just recently purchased Office XP
Academic Version which my children use extensively in their school studies.
