Have you ever come across word closing automatically after your
keyboard is idle for a few moments. I have this weird problem where
whilst you are typing any characters, spaces, etc. word remains open
with the text on your screen. The moment that you stop typing anything
word closes automatically without saving. I have checked where the
templates are stored. I have deleted the normal.dot, recreated one,
disabled all other templates, uninstalled and reinstalled office,
still no joy. Its very weird. Any ideas? My last resort is to reformat
the pc.
