XP Professional reactivate your product

I was using MSWord when computer suddenly played up. Unable to open MS Office
XP Professional. Window pops up saying, " MS Office XP Prof has detected a
chnge in your machine configuration........You must reactivate your product."

i have probably misplaced my CD, is there a fix.

As Office says, it thinks something has changed in the hardware so it starts
this annoying reauthentication process. Aren't you just able to
reauthenticate over the 'net though? Or at least you should be able to phone
MS if you own the product.
