Hello,
Deploying sp3 via a logon script which works fine mostly, however, according
to the logs, some users are getting the message "Error 1706. Setup cannot
find the required files... blah". I assume the installation of the SP wants
the original office cd to complete the install. I do have a network install
available (which is sp3...), is there a way to force sp3 to look there to
find the files?
Reason I'm just doing the service pack is because I assume is going to be
quicker than installing office again from the network install
Any ideas? Or should I just install from my admin install?
