XP Word Page Number errors

Having problems with page numbers using Word in Microsoft XP Professional. A
section break is causing the numbering to stop at page 17 and begin again at
page 1. How do I fix this so that the numbering continues to 18, 19, and so
on?

numbering continues to 18, 19, and so on?

Put the cursor in the second section. Click View >Header and Footer. On the
Header/Footer toolbar, click the Format Page Number button. Select "Continue
from previous section" and click OK.
