OK I just installed XP2 + Norton Int Sec Pro updates on Dell 4600 (new 1/04)
.... FAILURE to download office 2003 updates
Tried disable NAV part of NIS ... still failed
What did I do wrong? Something needs to be disabled ... what and how?
PS I also am a tad intimidated by all this security and conflicts ... who
should be main firewall NIS? XP? broadband router or modem (coming soon)?
Are there any SIMPLE books to help ... I go to sleep reading the huge
volumes. I do not need the long version ... just what to do to get everything
working and to be safe.
