x's in presentation

Ok here is what happen. I had a huge publisher file and found out I couldn't
make a jpeg from publisher. So I started transferring it to Powerpoint by
selecting all (in most cases) on a page and pasting to powerpoint. I got
about 47 of my 55 pages done and it seemed fine but now I have x's where some
of my pictures are supposed to be. THe powerpoint file is over 200 mb but it
also happen on my second file which is about 60mb. My original file in
publisher was 550mb. Why am I getting these x's now? It was fine when it was
first done? THanks

Each page of a web site should ideally be only about 40 - 60 KB ... not even
close to a MG. Publisher files absolutely will not work. Start over again
using FP and be sure that any images you use are optimized properly before
importing them into your site to be used on page. Avoid Publisher for
building webpages!!!

the red "X" indicates missing images...make sure the path names are correct.
they may have changed once you copied and pasted the publisher pages to
powerpoint.

One thing - why not just do the whole lot in Powerpoint to start with, rather
than doing it in Publisher?

BTW this has absolutely NOTHING to do with Frontpage.
