Hi,

Any help here?
--> "you are trying to publish a non enterprise project to project
server" one of my users got this problem and i cant find the solution for
it.

He's a project manager and i've set the right categories and groups for
him however he still cannot access it.

i found this link on the net but its already dead....

Eric --

I believe that the project manager in question has saved the project as an
..mpp file and then accidentally tried to publish the .mpp project. Project
Server does not allow this, which is the meaning of the error message. A
"non-enterprise project" is any project that is NOT stored in the Project
Server database, by the way. So, I would recommend that you tell the PM to
delete that .mpp file and to only publish the project that is stored in the
Project Server database. Hope this helps.

In addition to Dale's excellent advice, you can have your Project
Manager use the Import Project To Enterprise via Project Pro >
Enterprise Options > Import Project to Enterprise.
