You can show hours per day on the My Tasks page in 2007

I discovered this by chance, and have done a little testing - it seems to
work - but haven't seen it referred to anywhere in documentation.
If you edit the My Tasks webpart, and on the "PWA" settings tick the box
that says "Hours per day" you will get 7 days worth of columns, and the
'previous' and 'next' icons are enabled so you can scroll backwards and
forwards. The daily columns replace the single "Progress" column. The
updates go to the project manager exactly as if the Details page had been
used.
Scary - we're almost aftraid to use it because we haven't seen it mentioned
anywhere and it may disappear again!

Update - the new setting is described in hotfix 936876, but all of this seems
to have been updated in early september. The implications of the new setting
are not mentioned.

The KB documents are: 936876, 937476
You need to install a hotfix to enable the "hours per day" option. Once I
installed the hotfix I was able to turn that setting on. However, what I
*really* need is to see a summary per day of hours entered across all
projects for that day.

I can see hours entered per day after the hotfix, but no summary of total
time. I need to be able to see that I've put in 8 hours for each day across
multiple projects. If I could get that to display, I'd be happy :)
