you cannot close Microsoft Office Word because a dialog box is ope

I am getting this error message suddenly..running W. 7 on a new
computer...this just started happening. Office 07. Any help?

Note that posts can take anything from 2 to 20 minutes before they show up
and if you are not connecting directly to news.microsoft.com, may take
considerably longer.
