You do not have exclusive access to database

Error occurs but not at all computers. The message is true the users are
accessing as shared access. There are 31 errors each time (16 then something
different flashes by and 17 more).

This db has exosted for 5 years w front and back ends and user security by
groups. The issue started occuring about a year ago. I ignored it as it
occured on my admin station. The problem is now affecting other users.

On my station running XP pro-SP2 Access 2002-SP1 Netware Client 4.91, the
errors occur whenever I login normally to the switchboard. Admin or normal
user accounts get same error. Login holding the shift key the errors do not
occur (thus I did not see it much because this is how I edit forms etc then
export then to the source front end db that distributes on each login). I
have all security settings for both front and backend are recorded in a
spreadsheet and are verified against historical records. Folder rights are
wide open (local and network for members of the network group). I hold admin
rights on the folders.

The workgroup security file is stored in the same network folder as the
backend db and has a differnet name (ldb get created and deleted correctly).
All users use the same workgroup folder (I verified it was current while in
the db)

My "all user" Access group has no adminstrative or design modify rights.
They do design read rights.

I read throught the Security FAQs - Admin user and User Group have no
visible rights. Access does not allowdeletion of Admin user, but no content
helpful message. I have always used another Admin User to create and edit.

Possible culprits? Netware Client? Corrupt Worksations Security file? Or?
Your idaes please.
