Hi Carolina:

If you have just installed Project server there is only one user account
created, and it is the administrator (administrador if you are using a
spanish version), the password is the one you set during the setup process.
This is a project server account which means it's created in the Project
Server Database and is independent of your windows security. There also
exist Windows Accounts that you create in project server and associate with
Windows Accounts. If you want to access your project server based in windows
security you need one of these.

What if this doesn't work? I have installed a single server setup as per the documentation. The domain is NT4. Do I need to attempt a rebuild again? Is there another way to add user accounts? I am going through the web on the MSPJ 2K3 server as well as attempting this from the PDC.

The application log shows no errors, all mssql logons are successful

I have verified the DNS settings on both machines
I have set basic auth with the domain name set
I have set the http://servername/projectserver into the trusted sites

When I attempt to login in using 'Administrator' and the password I set up in the last step of the install I get the 5002 error. When I use the 'service account' I set up as per the documentation (domain/svcacct) I get error 5005.

I used a short password as this is in a lab/evaluation network. Is this an issue? Do I just need to rebuild the server from scratch?

Need a bigger hammer...

Found the issue...
Password in SQL...
Cleared it in Project D
