You should be able to archive recurring meetings in Outlook 2003.

I am attempting to lower my mailbox size using the archive feature, but
Office will not archive recurring meetings. Is there a trick to make the
instances of a recurring item that take place prior to the desired archive
date actually archive and free up the calendar space?
