You should be able to resume downloads of the service packs.

The service packs for office are too large to download over a dial up
connection. It would be great if you could resume partial downloads as you
can with Windows XP service packs, or order a CD.

You can order CDs for many of the large Service Packs and Service Releases
for Office. Which one are you trying to get now?

Also, be aware that the Office Update functionality is planned to be rolled
into a future Windows Update release. Your wish may be granted <g>.
