"Your current security settings prohibit running ActiveX controls on this page"

Hi,

when I try to open my Project Web Access homepage (PWA 2003), I receive
the error "Your current security settings prohibit running ActiveX
controls on this page." All security settings are the lowest you could
choose in Internet Explorer 6. The issue occurs only on PCs with
Microsoft XP with Visual Studio and on Windows 2003 Server machines.
Unfortunately at least our developer needs to have access to the PWA,
because we work together in a project.

I tried also to download the OCX and DLL Files from Microsoft and I
also tried to install em as described here:
http://support.microsoft.com/default.aspx?scid=kb;en-us;818046

Unfortunately nothin works. After registration I don`t see the
installed Plugins in %windir%\Downloaded Program Files.

any recommendations?

See if you have 'Internet Explorer Enhanced Security Configuration' installed
in Add/Remove Windows Components.

Uncheck that option & then try.

Hi,

of course I also removed the IE enhanced security configurations. But
it did not help ...
Any other solutions?
